Serie A side Fiorentina have announced the signing of Ghana international Tariq Lamptey from Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion.
The diminutive right-back sealed his move to The Violets right after passing his mandatory medical examinations earlier today.
An official statement over his capturing read via the club's official website: ''ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Tariq Lamptey from Brighton & Hove Albion.
''Born in Hillingdon, England, on September 30, 2000, Lamptey came through the youth system at Chelsea before moving to Brighton, where over the past five seasons he made 122 appearances across the Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup, recording five goals and 12 assists.
''The new Viola defender has also earned 11 senior caps for the Ghana national team.''
