Former AshantiGold SC captain, Shafiu Mumuni has joined newly-promoted Iraq Premier League side, Duhok Sport Club ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The 27 year old is switching to the Duhok Football Stadium on a two year deal after a fruitful negotiations joining the newbies.
The lanky forward has been without a club since leaving Al Kahrabaa in July this year and has finally gotten himself a new club to continue proving his worth.
This is going to be his third club in Iraq, having already featured for Erbil SC also, which actually is his first team in the Asian country.
The 2019 WAFU Zone B top scorer is expected to come in with so much experience derived in the game to help establish Duhok SC as a mainstay in the topflight.
The 2022/23 Iraq Premier League will commence on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
