The German lower-tier side have confirmed the transfer move of the Ghanaian attacker to the Bulgarian top-flight campaigners in this ongoing transfer window
English-born Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Duah has joined Bulgarian First League side PFC Ludogorets Razgrad, Bundesliga 2 outfit FC Nuremberg have confirmed.
The 26-year-old had a successful mandatory medicals and has inked a deal with the Bulgarian champions ahead of the upcoming football season.
"Medical check completed, contracts signed, ink dry: Kwadwo Duah has a new employer." The 26-year-old striker is moving from 1. FC Nürnberg to Bulgaria for champion and cup winner Ludogorez Razgrad. A year ago, “KD” came to the Valznerweiher from FC St. Gallen. In 33 games for FCN, the London native has scored 11 and set up one." Duah had this to tell his immediate employers right after his sale this summer: "First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the club for the past year. Even if things didn't go the way we all wanted in terms of sport, I felt very comfortable in Nuremberg. I will always be happy to come to the Valze, the stadium and the city. A new chapter in my life is now beginning for me in a club that has international goals. I am looking forward."
FC Nuremberg will be copping a fee of €3m after which a portion of it will be allotted to his former Swiss Super League side FC St. Gallen.
Born in London to Ghanaian parents, the attacking forward remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the Switzerland U18, U19 & U20 national youth teams.
