Ghanaian midfielder, Lawrence Ofori has joined newly-promoted Portuguese topflight side FC Moreirense on permanent basis after a successful loan spell with them last season.
Ofori, who turned 25 just couple of days ago, switched to the Portugal Division One champions prior to the start of the last campaign from his parent club FC Famalicao on a season long loan with an option to strike a permanent stay in future.
After an impressive and stellar display last season, the mercurial midfielder has been awarded with a three years contract which keeps him with the Green and Whites until 2026.
He made solid 35 appearances in all competitions with eight-goal involvements, scoring five and creating three- a stupendous performance which led to his permanent acquisition.
His performance helped FC Moreirense emerged as champions of the Liga Portugal SABSEG and also earned a spot in the Team of the Season.
