Spanish Segunda Division side, Real Oviedo have announced the capture of Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Sibo ahead of the 2024/25 football season. 

The 26-year-old is joining on a two-year deal after a fruitul negotiations from another Segunda division side SD Amorebieta- where he really excelled in the just finished season.

The stalwart middleman joined the Blues in the summer of 2022 from Real Betis and was very outstanding having played a vital role to earn them promotion back into the Laliga II, just a season after they had been relegated to the third tier.

The former Cheetah FC star made 41 appearances last season for SD Amorebieta and had a goal to his belt and has decided to move and seek a new challenge elsewhere.

Kwasi Sibo was officially unveiled earlier this morning at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere and will be hoping to join his new teammates very soon to start his preseason. 

After missing out narrowly on La Liga qualification last season losing the playoffs final to Espanyol, Real Oviedo are looking to patch up all cracks heading into the new season as they look to return into the topflight as soon as possible
