Tanzanian champions, Young Africans SC have announced the capture of Augustine Okrah and unveiled him earlier today after a fruitful negotiations.
The 30-year-old returns to the Tanzanian topflight where he played last season with their rivals Simba SC but spent just a season and returned to the country at the end of the season.
He rejoined Bechem United prior to the start of the ongoing season and as usual, has made a great impact already and is currently the fans favourite at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
After fifteen matches, he is involved in ten goals in fifteen matches; having netted eight times and provided two assists and was second on the top scoring chat.
He is now following the path of Bernard Morrison as the Ghanaian to have featured for both Simba SC and Young Africans SC.
Yanga recorded a 0-5 win over Jamhuri SC in the Mapinduzi Cup and are currently on the second position with 30 points and are just a point away from the top spot with two outstanding matches.
Augustine Okrah will hope to make his debut against Dodoma Jiji on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
