The veteran Ghana international defender has been offered a lifeline by his former employers as he faces a turbulent season over lack of game time in the just started campaign

Ghana international right-back Denis Frimpong Odoi is always welcome at OH Leuven according to manage Marc Brys, with the 35-year-old being linked with a reunion with his boyhood club this summer.

The former Fullham defender is enduring a tough time with Club Brugge following a lack of first team actions for the 2023-24 season. However, recent speculation in the Belgian media has suggested that the veteran fullback could reunite with fellow Pro League side OHL after making his displeasure over his lack of playing minute known to 90minutes saying; "I don't have the role I would like. "However, I feel in training that I am still fit, so I will continue to fight."

Having been linked with a switch to OH Leuven, club manager Marc Brys has said his outfit are unaware of such transfer speculation but would gladly welcome him into their fold as he describes him as a "fantastic footballer", telling Belgian television channel AVS: "That is also the first time I have heard this, but he is a fantastic football player and he is always welcome."

Odoi, whose contract with Club Brugge expires on June 30, 2024 , has so far featured in 2 league games in the ongoing Jupiler Pro League 23/24 season.

He so far has 7 international caps for Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars after switching allegiance and represented the west African powerhouse in 2022.
