The seven-time French top-tier league champions have set sights on the Brighton and Hove Albion right-back in the ongoing transfer window.
French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyon have reportedly penciled Ghana international Tariq Lamptey to strengthen their squad, according football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Groupama Stadium outfit have targeted the 22-year-old as a possible replacement for Malo Gusto, who has been linked with a move to English Premier League heavyweights Chelsea this January.
Lamptey has been struggling for playing time at Brighton and Hove Albion this season after making 20 appearances in all competitions with only five starts.
He announced his decision to switch nationality allegiance from England to play for Ghana at the senior level ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Lamptey has capped four times for the Black Stars of Ghana and played a role in the West African nation's campaign at the World Cup in Qatar.
