Osman Bukari, the Ghanaian winger, made his first appearance for Austin FC in their 2-2 draw with Charlotte FC on Saturday, playing 57 minutes in the MLS fixture.

 

Bukari, who signed with Austin FC this summer as a Designated Player, has agreed to a three-and-a-half-year contract with an option for an additional year. He brings valuable experience from his European career, particularly with Red Star Belgrade.

 

During his time at Red Star Belgrade, Bukari was a key figure in winning back-to-back Serbian league and cup titles. He also made a mark in the Champions League by scoring against Manchester City and providing crucial assists.

 

On the international stage, Bukari has played for Ghana in the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations, showcasing his talent globally. Austin FC, currently ranked 10th in the MLS standings, will be relying on Bukari to enhance their performance and climb the league table.
