The talented defensive midfielder has been included in the Black Stars provisional squad list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
France-based Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis has been handed a debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana by Coach Otto Addo.
Samed Salis was shockingly snubbed by the Black Stars technical team despite his impressive performance in the French Ligue 1 with RC Lens.
The 22-year-old has revealed in his recent interview that Coach Otto Addo has assured him of a slot in the Black Stars provisional squad list for the World Cup.
He has made 11 appearances for RC Lens in the French top-tier league with a goal to his credit.
“The coach sent me a message this (Saturday) morning, he said to me; You are going to be on the list.” Salis indicated.
“Everyone’s dream is to be at the World Cup and that is my dream too. I want to be in the final 26.
Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to announce a 30-man provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup later this month.
The four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions have been paired with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in the Group H of the World Cup.
