Ghana international Elisha Owusu has vowed to give everything for his new club, Erzurumspor FK.
The Black Stars midfielder sealed his move to the newly promoted Turkish Super Lig side on Wednesday, after bidding farewell to French outfit AJ Auxerre.
According to an official statement from Erzurumspor FK, Owusu has signed a two-year contract.
“Erzurumspor, continuing its transfer efforts, has signed two new players. Finally, a two-year agreement was reached with Miguel Cardoso, who most recently played for Kayserispor, and with midfielder Elisha Owusu, who played for AJ Auxerre in the French Ligue 1.
“Our new signings Miguel Cardoso, will wear number 20, and Elisha Owusu will wear number 42. We wish both of our players success wearing our glorious jersey. Welcome Miguel Cardoso & Elisha Owusu,” the Turkish club said.
In a short message to the supporters of his new club, the Ghana midfielder shared his delight and assured them that he will work hard for the side.
“I’m Elisha Owusu, and I’m very excited to be here. I can’t wait to step onto the pitch to fight for Erzurumspor and meet all of you,” Owusu said.
