ENGLAND

As usual, we commence from the English Premier League where Thomas Partey enjoyed another full time action in Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Brighton in a lunch time kickoff last Saturday. Tariq Lamptey was an unused substitute for the Seagulls.

Kudus Mohammed is still yet to score since the start of the season after once again enjoying full throttle in West Ham United's 1-3 home loss to champions Manchester City.

In-form Antoine Semenyo flourished again over the weekend with a goal to start what was an exciting 2-3 comeback victory for AFC Bournemouth over Everton.

Both Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made the starting line up for Leicester City but unfortunately lost 1-2 at home to Aston Villa.

Kamaldeen Sulemana wasn't in action in Southampton's 1-3 defeat at Brentford due to an ankle injury.

In the Championship, Forson Amankwah shaked off injury to feature in Norwich City's vital 0-1 win at Coventry City. Brandon Thomas-Asante made a cameo appearance for the homesters.

Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott was in goal for Crawley Town and played all minutes in their appalling 0-3 home defeat to Barnsley. 

Still in the English League 1, Black Meteors winger Kwame Poku had a full time action but his side Peterborough United lost 0-2 at home to Wrexham.

SPAIN

Both Inaki Williams and his younger brother Nico Williams were in action for Athletic Bilbao in their painful 0-1 home loss to Athletico Madrid last Saturday.

Center-back Abdul Mumin lasted the entire duration for Rayo Vallacano who lost 2-1 away at RCD Espanyol, also in the La Liga.

Joseph Aidoo is finally back from a long layoff and warmed the bench in Celta Vigo's defeat to Osasuna in an exciting five-goal thriller.

Iddrisu Baba Mohammed was at the bench for UD Almeria who got held to a pulsating 1-1 draw by Sporting Gijon in the Segunda Division.

Former Cheetah FC midfielder Kwasi Sibo was an unused substitute as his side Real Oviedo suffered a 1-3 home defeat to Racing Santander.

GERMANY

The only Ghanaian player in the German Bundesliga this season is Daniel Kofi Kyereh who is also currently injured and missed out in Freiburg's 2-0 defeat against giants FC Bayern Munich last week.

In the Bundesliga II, Ghanaian duo of Aaron Opoku and Jan Gyamerah featured in Kaiserslautern's 3-4 defeat to Hertha Berlin at home.

Red-hot Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer provided another assist to power Hamburger SV to a resounding 4-1 victory over Preussen Muenster. 

Christopher Antwi-Adjei played 45 minutes for Shalke O4 in their 1-3 defeat to FC Cologne at the Veltins Arena, also in the German second-tier.

ITALY

Alfred Duncan played all minutes for his new club Venezia in their 0-1 home defeat to FC Torino in the Italian Serie A.

In-form Emmanuel Gyasi scored again and was adjudged man of the match for the second straight time in Empoli's 1-1 draw away at Bologna.

At the Estadio Luigi Ferraris, Caleb Ekuban was a second half substitute for Genoa who suffered a 0-2 loss to Hellas Verona.

Ibrahim Sulemana didn't make Atalanta's squad in their 4-0 defeat to champions Inter Milan last Friday night.

FRANCE

In the French topflight, former WAFA star Augustine Boakye wasn't in action for St Étienne in their embarrassing 4-0 away defeat to Brest.

After a failed move to English side Fulham, Ernest Nuamah wasn't in action in Olympique Lyon's 4-3 home victory over Strasbourg over the weekend due to injury.

At the Stade Louis II, Mohammed Salisu warmed the bench for AS Monaco who got held by RC Lens to a 1-1 stalemate.

AJ Auxurre are back in the Ligue 1 and lost 3-1 to Le Havre last Sunday. Elisha Owusu unfortunately scored an own goal in the game whiles Gideon Mensah wasn't in action due to injury.

JMG Academy graduate Alidu Seidu was introduced in the second half in Stade Rennais' 2-1 away defeat at Stade Reims. 

In the French Ligue 2, FC Lorient lost 1-0 away at Amiens SC. Nathaniel Adjei was at the bench for the visitors. 

In the French Nacional Championnat 3, youngster Sumaila Awudu captained Clermont Foot B who held Lyon la Douchère to a 1-1 draw last Saturday in their season opener.

HOLLAND

Right to Dream Academy graduate Ibrahim Sadiq provided an assist to propel AZ Alkmaar to an emphatic 0-3 away triumph at RKC Waalwijk in the Dutch Eredivise.

Braydon Manu is currently injured hence couldn't partake in PEC Zwolle's 3-0 mauling on Heracles.

BELGIUM

Isaac Asante watched on from sidelines as his club KV Mechelen marmalized Sporting Charleroi by 5-2 in the Jupiler Pro League.

Christopher Bonsu Baah was subbed on in the second phase in KRC Genk's narrow 1-0 win over Westerlo. 

Lawrence Agyekum lasted the entire duration whiles his compatriot Abu Francis came off the bench for Cercle Brugge who lost 3-0 to giants Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadion last Sunday afternoon.

Denis Odoi created a goal for his new club Royal Antwerp who earned a vital 1-1 draw at Gent.

Mohammed Fuseini Gaddafi played 89 minutes for Union Saint-Gilloise in their goalless draw against RSC Anderlecht. Majeed Ashimeru was a second half substitute for the travellers.

Former Black Satellites attacker Joselpho Barnes came on in the second half for St. Truiden in their 1-1 away draw against Kortrijk.

TURKEY

Reliable defender Alexander Djiku is out of Ghana's 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger due to a knock he sustained in Fenerbahçe's 3-0 home win over Alanyaspor.

Emmanuel Boateng was brought on for Konyaspor in their 0-0 draw against Kayserispor. Joseph Attamah Larweh was at the bench for the visitors.

Nicholas Opoku flourished for his new club Kasimpasa who recorded a crucial 0-1 away win over Rizespor also in the Super Lig. 

Musah Mohammed lasted the entire duration for Bodrum FK in their 2-0 away loss st Goztepe. Haqi Osman also came on for the losing side.

Prince Obeng Ampem was an unused substitute for Eyupspor in their goalless drawn game against Trabzonspor.

Stalwart center-back Jerome Opoku registered an assist in Istanbul Basaksehir's emphatic 5-2 win against Antalyaspor.

Kingsley Schindler, who has returned to the Black Stars squad for the upcoming games, enjoyed full throttle for Samsunspor who won 0-3 away at Hatayspor.

In the Priemera Division, Lawrence Ofori found the back of the net for Moreirense who held giants SL Benfica to a 1-1 draw over the weekend.

Samuel Obeng Gyabaa played 88 minutes for his new club Casa Pia AC who were 0-1 winners away at CF Estrela. 

SCOTLAND

Former Bechem United star Aaron Essel was in action for St Johnstone in their 1-2 home defeat to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.

SWITZERLAND

Ten-man FC Basel recorded a 1-1 away draw at FC Sion. Jonas Adjei Adjetey- who has just received his first Black Stars call-up, lasted the entire duration of the game for the victors.

Still in the Swiss topflight, Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah was introduced in the second half for FC Grasshopper who lost 2-1 at Yverdon 

Patric Pfeiffer wasn't in action for Young Boys who got held to a pulsating 1-1 stalemate by Lausanne. 

Kassim Nuhu Adams wasn't in action for his new club Servette who won 0-1 away at Winterthur.

Former Hearts of Oak striker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was an unused substitute in FC Zurich's 1-1 draw against Luzern.

Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in goal for St Gallen who drew 1-1 to Lugano. Stephan Ambrosius was introduced in the second half for the visitors.

SWEDEN

In the Allsvenskan, Michael Baidoo scored a penalty for Elfsborg who drew 3-3 away at Brommapojkarna. His countrymen Jalal Abdulai and Terry Yegbe were all in action for the visitors.

Frank Junior Adjei featured for Vaernamo who lost 0-1 at home to powerhouse AIK.

Joseph Baffo excelled in defense for Halmstads BK in their 3-1 loss to Mjaellby. 

DENMARK

Both Malik Abubakari and Willy Kumado enjoyed full throttle to help Lyngby pick an important 1-0 win over Vejle Boldklub in the Danish Superliga.

Ghanaian duo Araphat Mohammed and Levy Nene were all brought on in the second half for FC Nordsjaelland who lost 4-2 away at AGF. Richmond Gyamfi was at the bench for the homesters.

Black Meteors striker Emmanuel Yeboah was in action for Broendby IF in their 3-1 defeat to FC Copenhagen.

Black Satellites winger Abdul Hakim Sulemana featured for Randers FC who won 1-0 at home against AaB. 

Maxwell Woledzi played all minutes for Fredrikstad in their 2-0 win against Odds Ballklubb.

CZECH REPUBLIC 

Black Stars left-back Patrick Kpozo played all minutes for Banik Ostrava who drew 2-2 against SK Sigma in Czech Republic. 

Prince Kwabena Adu played 61 minutes for Viktoria Plzen who got held to a 1-1 draw by Slovan Liberec.

AUSTRIA

In the Austrian Bundesliga, David Atanga scored for Wolfsberger AC who pummelled LASK by an emphatic 1-5 at the Raiffeisen Arena. 

GREECE

Baba Abdul Rahman excelled once again for FC PAOK who won 1-2 away at Atromitos in the Greek Super League.

ROMANIA

Baba Alhassan lasted the entire duration for FC Steaua Bucuresti who recorded a 2-0 home win over UTA Arad.

ARMENIA

Young-sensation Clinton Dombila lasted the entire duration for FC Ararat Yerevan who drew 2-2 against BKMA but still maintain top spot in the IDBANK Premier League.

Former Benab FC winger Israel Opoku played 85 minutes in his side Gandzasar's 2-0 away defeat defeat to Urartu. 

John Batigi scored a hatrick for FC Van who annihilated West Armenia by 6-0 over the weekend.

Both Eric Ocansey and Clinton Bangura featured for both clubs in Ararat-Armenia's 3-1 home win over Alashkert.

USA

In the Major League Soccer, former Black Meteors skipper Yaw Yeboah cameod in Columbus Crew's 4-2 home victory against New York City FC.

Prince-Osei Owusu was a second half substitute for Toronto FC in their 1-3 home defeat to DC United.

Osman Bukari played 90 minutes for Austin FC who suffered a narrow 0-1 home defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps.

Lalas Abubakar lasted the entire duration for Colorado Rapids who recorded a 2-3 away win at FC Dallas. Emmanuel Twumasi warmed the bench for the home team.

Jonathan Mensah was at the bench while Emmanuel Boateng came on for New England Revolution who suffered a 2-0 defeat against Real Salt Lake.

Former Liberty Professionals winger Latif Atta Blessing featured for Houston Dynamo who were 0-2 winners against his former club Los Angeles FC.

Kelvin Yeboah starred in Minnesota United's important 1-2 away victory at San Jose Earthquakes.

Joseph Paintsil was in action for LA Galaxy who lost 2-1 at St. Louis City.
