Ghanaian internationals were in action over the weekend as usual ahead of the third international break of the ongoing season and this is how some of them fared for their respective clubs over the weekend.

ENGLAND

Starting from the Vitality Stadium, Antoine Semenyo had a very good game for AFC Bournemouth in their resounding 2-0 win over Newcastle United- a good way to recover from the huge loss they suffered against champions Manchester City last week.

West Ham United were 3-2 winners over Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium. Kudus Mohammed played 90 minutes in the game.

In the English League 1, Kwame Poku netted a brace and topped up with an assist to propel Peterborough United to a refreshing 5-0 over Cambridge United to continue with their impressive run.

SCOTLAND

Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott was an unused substitute for Hibernian FC in 1-0 home win over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.

SPAIN

In Spain, Inaki Williams enjoyed 80 minutes of action for Athletic Bilbao in their 4-3 home win against Celta Vigo at the Estadio San Mamerse.

Iddrisu Baba made a cameo appearance for UD Almeria in their 1-3 home loss to Real Sociedad.

Samuel Obeng Gyabaa played 69 minutes for SD Huesca in their thrilling 1-1 draw with RCD Espanyol.

Dauda Mohammed was an unused substitute for Tenerife in their 0-1 home loss Villarreal B in the Spanish Segunda B.

ITALY

Emmanuel Gyasi was introduced in the second half for Empoli in their important 0-1 away win over champions SSC Napoli in the Italian Serie A.

In the Dutch Eredivise, Ibrahim Sadiq played 55 minutes for AZ Alkmaar in their painful 1-0 away loss at Feyernood.

BELGIUM

In the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, Joseph Paintsil lasted the entire duration for KRC Genk in their 3-1 win over OH Leuven at the Luminous Arena. His compatriot Christopher Bonsu Baah was subbed off in the second half.
