Austrian-born Ghanaian defender Kevin Danso was on target as RC Lens defeated Championnat National club FC Versailles 3-1 in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday at the TBC (France).
Remy Labeau Lascary gave RC Lens the lead in the 18th minute.
Versailles responded quickly, with former Le Havre midfielder Romain Basque equalizing in the 34th minute.
Kevin Danso, 25, restored RC Lens’ lead seventeen minutes later following a mix-up in Versailles’s defence.
Midfielder Adrien Thomasson sealed the victory for Lens in the 69th minute with a decisive stunner.
RC Lens will face English club Leicester in their eight friendly on Saturday, August 10.
