Accra Lions FC youngster, David Oduro has earned himself a huge and rare trial opportunity with European giants Chelsea FC and has already landed in London few days ago to undergo training.
The 17-year-old lateral has been outstanding with the Ghanaian outfit and has caught the good eyes of not only the Premier League side, but has also gotten lots of offers from other European clubs.
The Black Satellites defender is in Cobham and has already started training with the Blues and is expected to spend 14 days as he hopes to impress the technical team to warrant a perfect spot.
The young sensation, is a left-back who is very good at both defending and also in attack. His ability to defend and positional awareness is just incredible and is always joining their attack to augment their efforts upfront and could race back as quick as possible anytime they are under pressure.
David Oduro has made 15 appearances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season with a goal to his belt- which came in a one-all draw against Bibiani Goldstars in match-day nine.
He becomes the second-known Ghanaian trialist at Chelsea after another left-back Gideon Baah- who won the first edition of the MTN Soccer Academy show and later joined Asante Kotoko, New York Red Bulls and others.
Previously, Michael Essien also featured for the two-time European champions and is regarded as a legend at the Stamford Bridge, and also Baba Abdul Rahman, who all played under renowned manager Jose Mourinho in his first and second spells respectively.
