English Premier League side, Newcastle United have exhibited so much interest in signing Ghanaian winger, Kamaldeen Sulemana in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 20 year old had a sensational debut season in the French Ligue 1 with Stade Rennes, having managed to establish himself as one of the fans favourite at the Roazhon Park despite battling injuries at some point of the season.

He made 20 league appearances with six goals contribution, having scored four and provided two assists in the 2021/22 campaign.

The exclusive reports coming in from enterprising Ghanaian journalist Owuraku Ampofo has it that, the Magpies shortlisted the name of the Right to Dream Academy graduate as an alternative for Leeds United's Jack Harrison who happens to be their first target.

The former FC Nordsjaelland attacker was part of the best young players shortlisted in the just-held 2022 CAF Awards but narrowly missed out in the final three nominees- an accolade which was subsequently won by Senegal's Pape Sarr.

Kamaldeen, 20, is hoping for an injury free season in order to make the Black Stars final squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be held in Qatar later this year.
