Dutch-Ghanaian left-back Prince Aning has officially completed a move to Dutch side Telstar SC, signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2028, with the club holding an option to extend the deal by a further year.
The 22-year-old earned the contract after an impressive trial spell, during which he convinced the club’s technical staff of his ability to strengthen the left side of the defence ahead of the new season.
The club's official statement reads; "Telstar has permanently added Prince Aning to the squad. The 22-year-old left-back signs a contract until mid-2028, with an option for an extra season. Following a successful trial period, the club has decided to sign him."
Born in the Netherlands to Ghanaian parents, Aning has represented the Netherlands at youth level and boasts an impressive footballing background. He began his youth career with OSV Amsterdam before joining Ajax’s renowned academy in 2012, where he spent a decade honing his skills.

In 2022, the attacking full-back moved to Borussia Dortmund II, making 31 competitive appearances for the German club’s reserve side and gaining valuable experience in the German football system.
Telstar believe Aning’s arrival will add quality, competition and depth to their defensive unit as they prepare for the upcoming Eerste Divisie campaign.
The Dutch youth international went through the Ajax youth academy and made the move to Borussia Dortmund II in 2022. For the German club, Aning played 31 official matches for the second team.
Aning remains eligible to play for Ghana at the senior level.
