Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu has been named CF Montreal’s Player of the Year for the second successive season after retaining the club’s top individual honour for 2026.
The Montreal captain previously won the award in 2025 and has now repeated the achievement following another productive campaign in Major League Soccer.
Owusu has registered 21 direct goal contributions in 26 MLS appearances this season, scoring 15 goals and providing six assists.
His numbers underline his importance to the Canadian club, with the forward playing a leading role in their attacking efforts throughout the campaign.
The recognition adds to Owusu’s growing profile in North American football and marks another notable achievement since his arrival at CF Montreal.
The award also comes a year after he made his debut for the Black Stars during the Kirin Cup in Asia in November 2025, giving the Ghanaian another milestone to celebrate.
