Ghanaian international forward Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer continued his impressive form by scoring in a second consecutive game as Hamburger SV secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Hertha Berlin in Bundesliga 2 on Saturday night.

Playing at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Hamburger took the lead in the 23rd minute when German forward David Selke slotted home after being set up by Czech midfielder Adam Karabec.

Königsdörffer entered the game as a substitute in the 55th minute, replacing Selke. Just six minutes later, the Ghanaian made an instant impact, doubling Hamburger's advantage with a brilliant finish from Jean-Luc Dompé's assist.

Hertha Berlin fought back with French midfielder Mickaël Cuisance pulling one back in the 72nd minute. Moments later, Marten Winkler equalized, setting up a tense finish.

However, Hamburger sealed the victory six minutes from time when Kosovan forward Emir Sahiti found the back of the net to restore their lead.

Königsdörffer's performance this season has been pivotal for Hamburger SV. The 22-year-old has now scored nine goals and provided one assist in 18 league appearances.
