Talented Ghanaian youngster, Ernest Nuamah Appiah once again showcased his exceptional form this season with an outstanding performance that helped FC Nordsjaelland secure a 2-1 victory against Brondby.
Starting as a forward for his team during the Round 24 fixture of the ongoing 2022/23 Danish Superliga season, Nuamah capitalized on a good opportunity presented to him in the 12th minute after a strong start to the game. He scored a goal that gave FC Nordsjaelland a deserved lead.
Nuamah also played a crucial role in the build-up to Martine Frese's goal, which was the second for his team, scored in the 29th minute. With a comfortable lead at halftime, FC Nordsjaelland defended vigorously in the second half to secure their lead.
Although Brondby managed to score a consolation goal through Ohi Omoijuanfo in the 76th minute, it was not enough to prevent them from losing 2-1 to FC Nordsjaelland.
With his goal in this match, Nuamah's tally for the season now stands at nine goals and four assists in 23 appearances in the Danish Superliga.
