Ghanaian teenager, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has told Sporting Lisbon he wants to leave the club for more playing time elsewhere, according to outlet Record.

The report noted that, Issahaku wants to leave the Lisbon club on loan to help him develop his game.

 
Unfortunately, the 18-year-old's transition into the main team at Sporting Lisbon has stalled after moving to the Portuguese side early last year from Ghanaian second tier side, Steadfast FC.
 
He initially joined the junior side before finally pending his first professional contract when he turned 18 in March last year.
 
Issahaku has scored a goal in just six appearances for Sporting in the ongoing season.
 
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was part of the Black Stars squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
 
He has been a regular member of the Ghanaian national team since making his debut.
