Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi has heaped praises on Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus following the club’s 3-1 victory over Coventry City, which secured their first league win of the 2026/27 season.

The 26-year-old featured in the victory as Tottenham ended their wait for a league triumph. He played 87 minutes before making way for Dejan Kulusevski.

The Italian gaffer was particularly pleased with Kudus’ display after the break, noting that the Ghanaian became more effective as the game progressed and space opened up.

“Kudus also, I liked his performance, and especially in the second half, because in the first half I think it was too difficult to find the space,” De Zerbi said.

This is his second assist this season and will hope to continue with his form when they play Chelsea next at Stamford Bridge.

Kudus Mohammed is expected to make Black Stars squad for 2027 AFCON qualifiers double-header against Somalia next month.
