The Swedish top-flight side have confirmed an offer from the Czech Republic giants over the services of their talented defender of Ghanaian descent ahead of the summer transfer window

Swedish Allsvenskan side Djurgårdens IF have confirmed a bid from SK Slavia Prague for the services of Swedish-born Ghanaian centre-back Isak Malcolm Kwaku Hien.

The 23-year-old stopper has attracted the attention of the Czech Republic giants following his exploits at the heart of defense in the set-up of managers Kim Bergstrand & Thomas Lagerlöf  so far this term.

It has been reported in the Swedish press that Slavia Prague did scout the promising defender during Djurgardens' last league game against Malmo FF and were really impressed with his outing.

According to sporting director Bosse Andersson, his side have received an offer from the Czech First League side and are now deliberateing over it.

"That's right," Andersson affirmed to Newspaper Sports Espressen when quizzed about the bid being tabled for their prized asset.

"We have received concrete inquiries about Isak. We know that there is interest from several clubs as well. I can confirm that we have received an offer from Slavia Prague." he added.

He continued: "It is a dialogue between us and Slavia Prague. We have received an offer, I can confirm that, and we have not valued it yet. We value Isak as an important player for Djurgården."

Per report from the Newspaper, an amount of $1m was offered to DIF for the services of lsak Hien by Slavia Prague.

The Swedish top-flight campaigners could cash in on him given his current deal which is due to expire in December 2023.

The Swedish-born centre-back is still eligible to represent Ghana at the internatonal stage as he is yet to be capped by the  Swedish senior national team.
