The Spainish La Liga 2 outfit have announced the loan signing of the offensive midfielder until the end of the 2022/23 season's campaign.
La Liga returnees UD Almeria have farmed out Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Arvin Appiah to CD Tenerife for one season on the transfer deadline day.
Appiah has been loaned out to CD Tenerife due to limited playing time at the UD Almeria since their promotion to top-flight football.
The club's official statement reads “The versatile offensive footballer will play for the blue and white team, on loan from UD Almería during the 22/23 season. In this way, it will be Arvin Appiah's third experience in LaLiga SmartBank, a category in which he has already competed, despite his youth, with the Andalusian team and CD Lugo.”
Appiah, was born to Ghanaian parents in Amsterdam but he is eligible to represent either Holland or Ghana despite playing for England at the youth levels.
He arrived in Spain from English side Nottingham Forest for UD Almeria's record fee in 2020 and had made over 70 appearances with four goals to his credit.
Due to his style of play, he can adapt to different positions, always with an offensive profile, both on the right wing and on the left side, as well as being able to function in demarcations more typical of a second striker.
