Spanish third tier side Marbella FC have signed Ghanaian winger Tahiru Awudu from CD Estepona ahead of the new season.

 

The former Medeama SC player joins after signing a one-year contract until 2025 with an option to extend for an additional one year.


"Marbella Futbol Club has reached an agreement with the Ghanaian player Tahiru Awudu, who will remain linked to our club until June 30, 2025, with the option of one more season," the Little Whites officially confirmed Awudu's arrival.

 

"Awudu (Accra, Ghana; March 10, 2000) is a very explosive right-winger, negotiator and goalscorer. He has experience in the Second Division, in which he played ten matches with CF Fuenlabrada in the 2020/2021 season. He has also participated in the First Federation with CD Badajoz (2021-2022) and the last two years in Segunda RFEF with CD Estepona, having scored 5 goals and 5 assists in this past league! Welcome to your new home, Awudu."

 

Marbella have been keen to strengthen its forward line and on the right side of the defence, and with the summer signing of Awudu who isn't new to Spanish football.

 

Awudu, 24, has loads of experience under his sleeves - having played for Alcobendas, Fuenlabrada, Badajoz before joining CD Estepona where he netted 5 goals and gathered 5 assists in the Segunda Federación, which is the fourth tier of the Spanish football league system.
