Spanish Segunda B side Malaga CF have announced the release of Ghanaian defender Lumor Agbenyenu in what they described as gross indiscipline.

The 26 year old joined the Blue-Whites on a free transfer in the summer after parting ways with Greek Super League club Aris Thessaloniki at the end of last season.

The lanky lateral since his arrival has struggled to command playing time at the Estadio la Rosaleda, having made less than ten appearances so far in the ongoing campaign.

However, in an official club statement on Facebook, Malaga have confirmed Lumor won't be with them again for the remainder of the 2022/23 season because of disciplinary issues.

He has previously played for Wassaman United, Portimonense, 1860 Munich, Sporting CP, Aris Thessaloniki, Göztepe, and also Real Mallorca.

It's been a while since Lumor Agbenyenu had a Black Stars call up but has won 13 caps for the four time African champions.
