UK born Ghanaian international, Tariq Fosu has been included in the Championship Team of the week following his stellar display over the weekend.
The 26 year old enjoyed a full time action to power Stoke City to a sweet 3-1 victory over league leaders Sheffield United last Saturday at the Bet365 Stadium.
Experience center-back Phil Jagielka provided an assist for Ben Wilmot to set up their first goal, before restoring their lead in the dying embers of the first half after Rhian Brewster had brought the visitors back on level. Manchester City loanee Liam Delap came from the bench to seal the win for the host.
Tariq Fosu wasn't on the scoring and assist list but his stellar display after being deployed as a playmaker over the weekend has earned him a spot into the Championship Team of this week.
Stoke City after the important victory are currently sitting 15th on the log with 16 points after 13 games.
The Potters will travel to Preston North End in their next league fixture this Saturday.
