Ghana international Andre Ayew climbed off the bench to register two important goals to rescue Le Havre from away defeat to FC Lorient in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon.
Ayew, who failed to guide the Black Stars to the knockout stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, announced his return to the Le Havre team with a late brace to record a 3-3 against FC Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir.

Six minutes after the break, French international Ayman Kari gave FC Lorient a 2-1 lead but Ayew registered his debut goal for Le Havre with an equalizer on the 85th minute.
Ayew popped up once again on the score sheet in the 94th minute to end the match in a three-all draw after had scored for Lorient, two minute earlier.
The Black Stars captain was introduced on the 70th minute of the game as replacement for Daler Kuzyaev.
Ayew has made five league appearances for Le Havre with two goals to his credit since joining them on a free transfer in November 2023.
