Ghana international Kudus Mohammed climbed off the bench to rescue point for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie on Thursday evening.
Ajax's struggle in the Dutch top-tier league continued after FC Volendam held them to a 1-1 stalemate in their match-week 18 encounter at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
After lack of goals in the first half, Damon Mirani opened the score for the visitors on the 59th minute of the game.
Kudus Mohammed levelled the score for Ajax to deny FC Volendam from inflicting a painful home defeat on them at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
He was introduced on the 60th minute as replacement for Nigeria international Calvin Bassey.
Kudus Mohammed has notched up 10 goals and provided two assists in his 23 appearances for Ajax Amsterdam in all competitions this season so far
