The Austrian top-flight outfit have resolved to abrogate the contract of the winger of Ghanaian descent in this ongoing winter transfer window
Austrian Bundesliga side SV Ried have announced the mutual termination of contract with German-born Ghanaian winger Agyemang Diawusie following an uninspiring outings in this current campaign.
The 24-year-old winger joins the Josko Arena outfit on a free transfer during the summer transfer window having exhausted his deal with German lower-tier side Dynamo Dresden.
Agyemang has failed to live up to expectations in the Austrian top-flight and has now been shown the exit door in this ongoing winter window.
Right after his release, the former RB Leipzig U-19 youth star had this to tell the official website of his former employers: "Unfortunately, it didn't work out the way both sides had imagined. We found a good solution and I wish the club all the best for the spring season."
Sporting director Thomas Reifeltshammer added this to his club's communications network over the release of Agyemang: "The sporting situation wouldn't have gotten any easier for Agy in the spring and we have therefore agreed on an amicable termination of the contract. We wish him all the best for his sporting and private future.”
The former Nurnberg U-17 youth product is still qualified to play for Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Germany U-15 & U-19 national youth teams.
