According to reports from African football expert Micky Junior, Tanzania's top-flight side, Simba SC have agreed to terminate the contract of Ghanaian forward Augustine Okrah at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old joined Simba from Bechem United for an undisclosed fee. Okrah agreed to a two-year contract with the Lions of Msimbazi after successfully completing his medical examination and finalizing personal terms a few weeks ago.
Okrah had returned to Bechem at the start of the 2021-22 campaign following his departure from Asante Kotoko. During his initial stint with Bechem, he emerged as the top scorer of the Ghana Premier League in the 2013-14 season, netting 16 goals.
Subsequently, Okrah had a loan spell at Swedish club BK Hacken before moving to Sudanese giants Al Merreikh. After one season, he made a switch to their rivals, Al Hilal Omdurman.
The Ghanaian forward has also had experiences playing for NorthEast United in India and Egyptian side Smouha SC.
