Tanzanian heavyweights Simba SC have announced the exit of Ghanaian attacker Augustine Okrah who joined them prior to the start of last season from Bechem United.

The 29 year old signed a year contract with the Lions with an option to extend and was strictly based on performance but couldn't live up to the height and has to leave and seek a new challenge elsewhere.

The club confirmed on their official Facebook page; "After being in our squad for one season, Augustine Okrah will not be part of our squad for next season."

The versatile forward started life very well in Tanzania, having scored in his debut against Ismaily in a preseason game and also against eternal rivals Yanga at the early stages to give a glimpses of hopes and what he is capable of bringing on board but unfortunately couldn't soldier on with the same momentum.

With this, Simba SC have decided to end the relationship between the two parties as they look to make new additions to establish a redoubtable side for the 2023/24 season to end their recent league drought.
