Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey climbed off the bench to help Brighton and Hove Albion record a 4-1 win over Everton in the English Premier League on Tuesday night football.
The 22-year-old replaced Joël Veltman and contributed convincingly to the victory at Goodison Park.
Japanese left-winger Kaoru Mitoma opened the scoring for the Seagulls in the 14th minute and went ahead to add another two quick goals after recess (51st and 54th minutes) respectively.
German midfielder Pascal Gross sealed the win in the 57th minute for the visitors to break the hearts of the home fans, with Demarai Remelle Gray pulling parity in injury time from the spot-kick.
