The Black Stars right-back won't be available for selection for Brighton and Hove Albion in this weekend's Premier League game against Burnley due to injury.
Brighton and Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Ghana international Tariq Lamptey will miss their trip to face Burnley in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Lamptey has reportedly sustained a muscle injury which will make him unavailable to feature for Brighton until May.
His last game for Brighton and Hove Albion was a 3-0 home loss to Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
He had struggled with a lot of injuries throughout this season and toward the end of last season.
De Zerbi also confirmed that Bart Verbruggen will start in goal, while Billy Gilmour, James Milner and Adam Webster are edging closer to returns.
"The situation is tough as we have nine injured players. Ferguson, Webster, Lamptey, Milner, Gilmour, March, Mitoma and Hinshelwood. It’s more or less the same squad we played against Arsenal.
"Julio Enciso can’t play tomorrow. I don’t know if it’s a tough injury, but he’s not available.”
