Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil expressed his delight after playing a pivotal role in LA Galaxy's triumph over Vancouver Whitecaps on their travels.

The Black Stars forward showcased his prowess by scoring his third goal of the MLS season and delivering an assist as the former champions clinched a comfortable 3-1 victory.

Paintsil opened the scoring for LA Galaxy with just ten minutes remaining on the clock, breaking the deadlock after Brian White had leveled the scores following Dejan Joveltic's opener for the visitors.

Demonstrating his versatility, Paintsil then turned provider two minutes later, delivering a precise cross from the right for Diego Fagundez to convert.

"Thank God for the goal, assist, and the 3 points," he expressed on social media, reflecting on his stellar performance.

Since his arrival from Belgian giants KRC Genk in February, Paintsil has proven to be a valuable asset for LA Galaxy, contributing three goals and three assists to their campaign.

With this victory, LA Galaxy currently lead the West Conference table after eight games, with Vancouver Whitecaps closely trailing behind.
