Ghana's Black Stars forward, Osman Bukari, has shared his thoughts on his Man of the Match performance in Wednesday evening's UEFA Champions League match at home.

Bukari played a pivotal role for Serbian Superliga team Red Star Belgrade in their UEFA Champions League match against Young Boys FC. He not only found the back of the net but also provided an assist during the game.

In the 35th minute of the first half, he skillfully set up Cherif Ndiaye, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead.

After the game, Bukari took to X to expressed his disappointment for not winning the game despite his stellar performance which won him the man of the match award.

"A goal and an assist topped with the MVP award. A win would’ve sealed everything but Alhamdullilah. This is for my teammates and for the fans as well. Thanks to y’all for the love and support, we will come back stronger!"

Bukari had previously scored the opening goal in Red Star Belgrade's first UEFA Champions League game against Manchester City FC and contributed to another goal for the team.
