Italian Serie A side Torino FC are closing in on Swedish-born Ghanaian defender Isak Malcolm Kwaku Hien having tendered in an audacious bid for his services this summer.
Given an impressive performance in the ongoing Swedish Allsvenskan campaign, the 23-year-old's Djurgardens IF stopper is currently being courted by many elite division sides across Europe - with Slavia Prague, AEK Athens, Ajax and FC Basel - all currently gunning for his signature in this transfer window.
According to sporting director Bosse Andersson, the offer being tabled for their prized asset by the ltalian outfit is "great in numbers" as he deemed the figures as satisfactory judging from the numerous bids from other suitors.
"Those are great numbers," the DIF chief told Fotbollskanalen whiles confirming the bid from Torino FC for his dependable centre-back.
He added: "We must be well paid. With the interest that exists, we are in a good position. We don't really want to sell, because we want to keep him. We know our role in the food chain. It's going nicely and straight to It's great numbers."
Reports from the Swedish media have claimed that an amount of €3.8m was offered by Torino FC for their transfer target man in this summer transfer window.
The Swedish-born centre-back is still eligible to represent Ghana at the internatonal stage as he is yet to be capped by the Swedish senior national team.
