Ghanaian attacker Ibrahim Sadiq opened his goal scoring account for AZ Alkmaar against Aston Villa in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday evening.
Sadiq, who was handed starting berth in the crucial fixture, registered his name on the score sheet for the Red and White lads when they succumbed to a 4-1 home defeat to the English Premier League club.
His goal in the 65th minute of the game was the consolation goal for AZ Alkmaar as they tasted second defeat in Group E of the competition.
