German-born of Ghanaian international Prince Owusu Osei came off the bench to score his maiden brace for Toronto FC in their away defeat to Charlotte FC in the Major League Soccer on Sunday morning.

Toronto FC succumbed to a 3-2 away defeat to Charlotte FC in the all-important fixture at the Bank of America Stadium.

Osei Owusu was introduced after the break as replacement for Canadian international Deandre Kerr and made an instant impact with two goals.

Kerwin Vargas gave Charlotte FC the lead with a fine strike in the 39th minute before German-born of Ghanaian origin Prince Osei Owusu leveled the score, just four minutes after the break.

Charlotte FC restored their lead through Liel Abada, but Osei Owusu popped up again when he tapped in a pass from Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty in the 78th minute of the game.

Substitute Patrick Agyemang scored the match-winner with a cool finish in the 85th minute of the game.

Osei Owusu has managed to notch up three goals in eight game outings for Toronto FC in his debut Major League Soccer season.
