Athletic Bilbao centre-forward Inaki Williams has urged Ghanaians to offer unflinching support to the Black Stars after a painful loss to Portugal in the 2022 World Cup opening games.
Ghana suffered a 3-2 defeat to the 2016 European champions in the Group H opener at the Stadium 974 in Doha on Wednesday afternoon.
Skipper Andre Ayew grabbed the leveller for Ghana on the 73rd minute after Cristiano Ronaldo had broken the virginity of the game through a contentious penalty in the 65th minute.
Atlético Madrid teenager Joao Felix and Rafael Leao extended the lead for Portugal before Osman Bukari pulled a goal back for Ghana in the 89th minute of the brutal clash.
Williams, who enjoyed the entire duration of the game, took to his official twitter account to ask Ghanaians to keep supporting the team in the remaining Group H matches against South Korea and Uruguay.
There is no time for regrets, there are 2 games left still... ?
