Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has said that his Brighton and Hove Albion side "will keep working hard" following their disappointing 2-2 draw with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Seagulls were hoping to rebound after their 3-1 defeat at Fulham last Thursday - a result that plunged their hearts into shreds.

However, Brighton were forced to share the spoils with Leicester City after their opponents fought back from a goal down on two occasions to salvage a point in the East Midlands of England.

Meanwhile, Tariq Lamptey expressed his disappointment after the match, but he believes that his club' Brighton can drag themselves back into winning ways if they put in the work, improve and grind the numbers in their subsequent matches.

"Tough one to take, but we will keep working hard to improve and be ready. Thanks for the support as always, hope everyone got back safe," Lamptey punched on Instagram.

Brighton will endeavour to return to winning ways when they host Crystal Palace in the round 16 of the Premier League on Sunday, before preparing to face Kudus Mohammed's West Ham on December 21.
