English Premier League side, West Ham United have initiated contact with Ajax, expressing strong interest in their Dutch-born of Ghanaian descent, Bryan Brobbey as they aim to bolster their attacking options.

However, negotiations are already proving to be complicated as Ajax have made it clear they will only entertain an outright transfer and not a loan move.

Ajax, for their part, are in no rush to sell, knowing they hold the stronger position in negotiations.

The Eredivisie giants are determined that any potential deal for the 21-year-old must incude a permant transfer or at least an agreement to buy at the end of a loan spell.

Ajax are unwilling to let goal of their promising priced-asset without guarantees of a long-term commitment from West Ham. This stance reflects Ajax’s belief in Brobbey’s value and potential, as well as their reluctance to let him leave without proper compensation.

Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, but time is of the essence. If West Ham are to land Brobbey, they must either meet Ajax’s demands for a permanent deal or structure a loan with an obligation to buy.
