Jeremie Frimpong registered an assist to help Bayer Leverkusen defeat AC Milan 1-0 on Tuesday night at the BayArena in Round 2 of the Uefa Champions League.

 

The Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, who lasted the entire duration assisted Nigerian attacker Victor Boniface to score the only goal of the match. 

With the victory, Leverkusen are 3rd on the 36-team Uefa Champions League log with 6 points, while AC Milan are bossing the 29th spot with no points. 

 

Bayer Leverkusen will next face French side' Brest on October 23 at the Stade de Roudou in Guingamp.
