Ghanaian teenager Yassin Mohammed has joined Swedish side BK Olympic on loan from Malmo FF as he continues his development in Europe.

The 18-year-old striker will spend the 2026 season with BK Olympic, who play in Ettan Sodra which is Sweden’s third division. The move is aimed at giving him regular first-team football and senior-level experience.

Mohammed joined Malmo last year from Ghana’s WAFA Academy and is seen as one of the club’s promising young attackers.

Malmo and BK Olympic have a long-standing partnership, with young players often sent on loan to gain match experience and adjust to the demands of senior football.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Mohammed said he is confident the move will help his progress.

“Being loaned to BK Olympic feels like a good step for me where I hope we have a good season together,” he said.

BK Olympic also expressed their delight after bringing the Ghanaian goal sniffer to their fold.

"Yassin is a dangerous striker with great potential that we believe a lot in, and look forward to seeing him in 2026 in the green shirt."

The Ghanaian forward impressed at youth level last season as he notched seven goals in 11 matches in the P19 Allsvenskan.
