Former AshantiGold striker Yaw Annor scored four goals to propel Ismaily SC to a resounding 4-1 win over Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Egypt Premier League on Saturday evening.
Ismaily SC secured their ninth victory of the season against Al Ittihad in the match-week 34 clash at the Ismailia Sports Stadium.
The 25-year-old opened the floodgate with a fine strike on the 4th minute before doubling the score with a spectacular strike which goalkeeper Al Mahdi Soliman parred to his own net.
The Ghanaian-born Togolese striker extended the lead to 3-0 for Ismaily SC in the 20th minute before Khaled Sobhi reduced the deficit for the visitors.
Annor, who lasted for the entire duration, completed his day with the fourth goal after a solo run on the 62nd minute of the game.
He was exceptional in the Ghana Premier League two seasons ago after bagging 22 goals in 30 matches to win the top-scorer award.
His explosive form for AshantiGold attracted huge interest from Egyptian side Ismaily SC who splashed $200,000 for his signature.
Annor was born to a Ghanaian father and Togolese mother, he opted to represent the Hawks of Togo at international stage despite earning Ghana U23 call-up in 2018.
