Former Barcelona star, Ibrahim Afellay has heaped praises on Kudus Mohammed after his impressive display for Ajax against SC Heerenveen over the weekend.
Kudus has scored four goals in the last three games for Ajax.
He has won two Man of the Match awards in his two starts for Ajax so far this season.
Mohammed Kudus tried to force a move to Everton over lack of playing time in the just ended transfer window.
Ajax boss, Alfred Schreuder confirmed that Kudus held talks with the club over his limited role in the team.
Ibrahim Afellay says Mohamed Kudus had a great game against Heerenveen.
"Ajax is currently lord and master in the Netherlands and above all its biggest opponent," Afellay said at Studio Voetbal.
'It was once again enjoyable. Of course, such an early lead helps when you play against a very organized Heerenveen.
"You can't ignore Kudus at the moment," he admitted.
“He played a great game against Glasgow. You can say: I can also play this position, but I think it is strong that he indicates that he is not a striker," Afellay insisted.
