Ghanaian winger Zuberu Sharani had finally made his UEFA Champions League debut for Slovakian champions Slovan Bratislava- definitely something he's been hoping to achieve for a long time.
The Kings of Bratislava got pummelled by 0-4 against English champions Manchester City in their second game of the competition in a difficult tie at the Tehelne Pole.
Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and James McAtee were enough to hand the Cityzens their first win in the competition.
Zuberu was introduced in the game on the 63rd minute to take the place of captain Vladimir Weiss and finally had the opportunity to have a taste of the biggest club football competition in the world.
He came on to operate on the flanks where he offered his best but wasn't enough as Pep Guardiola's men proved superior on the night.
The former Dreams FC star will hope to continue getting much playing time in their subsequent matches and will face Spanish side Girona in match-day three.
Zuberu Sharani enjoyed a fantastic run having made seven appearances in the run and also registered an assist in the qualifying round.
