Kotoko Royals, Liberty Professionals and Tema Youth all have a chance of securing Ghana Premier league spot for next season as title race goes to the wire.
Kotoko Royals are currently on top of the league with sixty-two points, one point ahead of second placed Liberty Professionals and three points of opponents Tema Youth.
Kotoku Royals needs a win to secure the league title and gain Ghana Premier league promotion for the first time meanwhile, Tema Youth goes all out for the second consecutive season to try their luck.
Kotoku Royals beat Tema Youth by 2:0 in the first round, and Tema Youth needs to beat them by two goals or more to stake a claim of promotion if Liberty fails to defeat Susubiribi.
If Tema Youth wins against Kotoku Royals whereas Liberty Professionals wins against Susubiribi then, Liberty Professionals will qualify ahead of both Tema Youth and Kotoku Royals.
When Tema Youth beat Kotoku Royals and Liberty Professionals draw to Susubiribi then, the head to head rule will be applied among the teams.
RELEGATION STRUGGLE
Two of Kwaebibirem United, Akosombo Krystal Palace and FC Nania will join Accra Young Wise down to the Division two as they manoeuvre their way out of the relegation scare.
Kwaebibirem are currently on thirteenth with thirty-two points, two points above both Nania and Akosombo Krystal Palace.
A win for Kwaebibirem against relegated Accra Young Wise will cement their place in the Division One league next season, as both Nania and Akosombo Krystal Palace sinks to the third tier even if they win.
Both FC Nania and Akosombo Krystal Palace will have to beat Golden Kicks and Accra City Stars away respectively in order to stake a claim of survival if Kwaebibirem does not win.
