The Ashanti Regional Football Association have scheduled Tuesday, May 2, 2023 as the date for the commencement of the 2022/23 promotional tournament for third division football.
Two venues; Prempeh College and Bantama Kokoase Astro Turf have been chosen to host the epic competition coming up next week.
Thirteen-two (32) teams will be battling for four available slots to division two this time, with 24 confirming their qualification already, remaining four to complete.
Four clubs that qualified last year included Vital Stars, Namoro Academy and Kharis Academy who both finished third and fourth respectively in zone five and Mahala Academy who incredibly secured a Middle League in their maiden season after coming as the best second-placed team.
The competition is honoured in a knockout fashion starting from the round of 32 and will be halted at round eight- where all winners from the round will cruise into the country's second tier.
