The Black Galaxies outstanding bonuses have been settled by the Sports Ministry, according to the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Evans Opoku Bobie.
Black Galaxies record a 3-1 comeback win over Sudan in their final group game at the Championship of African Nations (CHAN), after a shocking 2-1 lost to Madagascar in the first game.
Hearts of Oak trio Konadu Yiadom, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu completed the onslaught for Ghana after Al-gozoli Nooh had scored the opener for Sudan.
The Black Galaxies chances of progressing from the group stages have been enhanced, but it depends on the game between Madagascar and Sudan for their opponents in the next round.
The Black Galaxies reportedly threatened to boycott their training camp trip to Egypt due to unpaid bonuses before finally agreeing to avail themselves.
The Sports Ministry promised to pay the outstanding bonuses after the Black Galaxies defeat to Madagascar on Sunday.
Evans Opoku Bobie has told the team that they've issued cheques to the Ghana Football Association to pay their outstanding bonuses and per diem.
"The cheques I promised you are with the FA and the accountant has done all the cheques. The per diem is also ready. So in terms of motivation and what have you, like I said the President has ordered that Ministry should do everything possible so what is due you is paid,” he said.
